address
Type: System.String
An IP address.

Return Value

Type: System.Net.IPHostEntry
An IPHostEntry instance.
Exception Condition
ArgumentNullException

address is null.

SocketException

An error is encountered when resolving address.

FormatException

address is not a valid IP address.
