IBindableComponent Interface

Enables a non-control component to emulate the data-binding behavior of a Windows Forms control.

The IBindableComponent type exposes the following members.

  Name Description
Public property BindingContext Gets or sets the collection of currency managers for the IBindableComponent.
Public property DataBindings Gets the collection of data-binding objects for this IBindableComponent.
Public property Site Gets or sets the ISite associated with the IComponent. (Inherited from IComponent.)

A Binding contains a reference to its IBindableComponent owner through the BindableComponent property.

The Control class implements this interface, so if your bindable component inherits from Control, you do not need to implement this interface.

.NET Framework Client Profile

Supported in: 4, 3.5 SP1

Windows 8 Consumer Preview, Windows Server 8 Beta, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 SP2, Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core Role supported with SP1 or later; Itanium not supported)
