Project Property Changes in Visual Basic .NET

Project properties in both Visual Basic 6.0 and Visual Basic .NET specify various global settings for a project. In Visual Basic 6.0, project properties were set in the Project Properties dialog box. In Visual Basic .NET, project properties are set in the Property Pages dialog box; some properties can be set on a per-configuration basis.

Many of the project properties differ between Visual Basic 6.0 and Visual Basic .NET. The following list provides a comparison of Visual Basic 6.0 and Visual Basic .NET project properties. Note that not all properties are available for all project types.
