aria-valuenow Attribute

Sets or retrieves the current value of the element.

Syntax

HTML<ELEMENT aria-valuenow = v... >
Scriptingv =object.getAttribute("aria-valuenow");
object.setAttribute("aria-valuenow", v );

Possible Values

vString that specifies or receives the current value.

The property is read/write. The property has no default value.

Remarks

This property applies to elements with an ARIA role of progressbar, slider, or spinbutton.

The ariaValuemin and ariaValuemax properties together specify the allowable range of values, whereas the aria-valuenow property specifies the value currently selected.

Note  For cross-browser compatibility, always use the WAI-ARIA attribute syntax to access and modify ARIA properties, for example object.setAttribute("aria-valuenow", newValue).
