DataGridTextColumn.RefreshCellContent Method

Refreshes the contents of a cell in the column in response to a column property value change.

Parameters

  • propertyName
    Type: System.String
    The name of the column property that has changed.

Exceptions

Exception Condition
ArgumentNullException

element is nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).
ArgumentException

element is not a TextBlock or TextBox.

Remarks

This method is called one time for each cell when the value of one of the following properties changes.

This method propagates the change to the TextBlock or TextBox control in the specified cell, updating the corresponding property. A cell contains a TextBox control only when it is in editing mode.

Notes to Inheritors

When you inherit from DataGridTextColumn, you typically override the RefreshCellContent method to update cells in the column in response to column property changes.
