The Windows Live Agents SDK provides everything you need to develop your own interactive Windows Live Agents.
A Windows Live Agent is a smart computer application that operates over text messaging networks. An agent (formerly called a "Buddy") interacts with people by using natural language interactions. People can ask questions of the agent, and the agent responds with information. Agents can be developed for virtually any kind of content, such as services or entertainment news.
Installing the Windows Live Agents SDK integrates the Windows Live Agents development environment (the IDE) with Visual Studio. After the installation, simply open Visual Studio, read along with this documentation, and get started with the Windows Live Agents Tutorial project. Soon you will be creating your own agents and scripting them with BuddyScript -- a proprietary scripting language available only through the Windows Live Agents SDK.
This documentation provides all of the information knowledge engineers (developers), administrators, managers, and knowledge base contributors need to install, configure, deploy and manage Windows Live agents.
