Another way to access the Application Block Software Factory recipes is with the Guidance Package Manager.

To use the Guidance Package Manager

  1. Open Visual Studio.
  2. Click Tools, then click Guidance Package Manager.
  3. Click Enable/Disable Packages.
  4. Select Application Block Software Factory.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Double-click on the recipe you want to use.
  7. The Target Element Selection dialog box appears.
  8. Select the appropriate target element and click Accept.
  9. The wizard for that recipe appears. Use the procedures described in this topic to fill out the forms.
