Customization File

[Applies to: Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0]

The customization file contains all the customizations for a specified set of entities and configuration elements.

This file can be created by using the export messages. For more information, see Messages for Import, Export, and Publish.

The customization file can also be exported from the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Web application, by doing the following:

In the Navigation Pane, click Settings, click Customization, and then click Export Customizations.
Click Export All Customizations or select one or more entities, and then click More Actions, and then select Export Selected Customizations.
