Hyperlinks task pane
You can generate a Hyperlinks report that lists the status (Broken, OK, or Unknown) of all hyperlinks and source references in your website, and the location and destination of each hyperlink and source reference.
Tip
You can also generate a type of usage report that lists either all web domains or the URLs of files on other websites that link to a file in your website. For more information, see Site reports overview.
To generate a Hyperlinks report
With your website open, on the Task Panes menu, click Hyperlinks.
In the Hyperlinks task pane, do the following:
Optional: To verify only particular hyperlinks, select the hyperlinks you want to verify.
Click the Verify Hyperlinks button .
In the Verify Hyperlinks dialog box, specify which hyperlinks you want to verify, and then click Start.

Open the Verify Hyperlinks dialog box, which enables you to refresh the list.Next Result button
Open the web page that contains the next result in the list and highlight the hyperlink.Previous Result button

List links that point to a bookmark (HTML anchor) or other content in the same web page as the hyperlink, and list references in a web page to items within the same page, such as a reference to an image map.Column heading
Sort or reverse the list of results.Down arrow in a column heading
Restrict the results to those that fit the criteria you select. Right-click a column heading and select Remove Filters to deselect filter criteria.Tip
When the results of the report are filtered, the down arrow of the filtering column appears blue instead of black.
Tip
Right-click a row and then click Go to Page to open the web page that contains the link. Double-click the row to open the Edit Hyperlink dialog box.
