Data Source Details panel

Expression Studio 3.0

The Data Source Details panel displays the hierarchy and contents of XML files. You can add fields from the Data Source Details panel to a data view.

To include fields in a data view, select one or more fields, click Insert Select Fields as, and then click one of the following:

Single Item View to display the contents of the XML file in a table with a column for every field and the values listed in rows.
Multiple Item View to display each field name followed by the value of the field.

Select Show data values to display the value of the fields.

Click Previous Cc295479.b185c2cb-7089-4dce-9531-9bae4aa1c673(en-us,Expression.30).gif or Next Cc295479.5a4d442f-c256-4bf7-a041-e40263af166d(en-us,Expression.30).gif to move between each set of fields in the XML file. The value of the new fields is displayed in the Data Source Details panel, but this has no effect on data views created when you click Insert Selected Fields as.
