Insert a code snippet

You can quickly insert a code snippet that you've created or one that's provided by Microsoft Expression Web, while working in the Code view of a web page or other file.

To insert a code snippet

In Code view, put your cursor where you want to insert the code snippet, and then do the following:

On the Snippets panel, right-click the snippet you want to add and then click Apply Snippet.

To wrap a selection in a code snippet

In Code view, select the text you want to wrap in a code snippet, and then do the following:

On the Snippets panel, right-click the snippet you want to add and then click Apply Snippet.
