Import and export files
You can import files and folders from another site into your site by using Microsoft Expression Web. You can also create a personal web package that contains the pages you select and, optionally, the support files that are required to recreate your pages.
With your site open, on the File menu, point to Import, and then click File.
To open the Import Site Wizard directly, on the File menu, point to Import, and then click Import Site Wizard.
In the Import dialog box, do the following:
To import a file, click Add File. In the Add File to Import List dialog box, locate and click the file you want, and then click Open.
To import a folder, click Add Folder. In the File Open dialog box, locate and click the folder you want, and then click Open.
To import a site, click From Site. Follow the steps in the Import Web Site Wizard.
If Expression Web encounters a problem importing a specific file, the program displays an error message and won't import any files that remain in your list of files to import. If this occurs, in the Import dialog box, select the file that is named in the error message, click Remove, and then import the remaining files into your site.
With your site open, on the File menu, point to Export, and then click Personal Web Package.
