Data Source Library panel

You can use the Data Source Library panel to add, edit, or delete XML or database connections in your site.

To add a new XML file to the Data Source Library, click Add an XML file under Local XML Files.

To create a connection to an Access database, an ODBC data source, a Microsoft SQL Server data source, or an Oracle database, click New ASP.NET Connection.

Click Refresh library to show ASP.NET connections or XML files you add to your site that do not yet appear in the Data Source Library panel.

To see the structure and content of an XML file, click the item in the library and then click Show Data.

To see the location of and summary information about the file, click the item in the library and then click Properties.

To edit or delete database connections that are stored in the web.config file of your ASP.NET site, click the name of the connection.
