Repeat transformations

After you apply a transformation to an object on a page, you can reapply the same change to other objects also. For example, if you scale one rectangle on a page, you can apply the last-used transformation (the scaling) by itself to another rectangle.

You can repeat the last-used transformation on another object.

To repeat a transformation

  • After transforming an object, select another object on which you want to apply the same transform, and then do one of the following:

    • On the Arrange menu, point to Transform, and then click Repeat Last Transform (or press CTRL+D).

    • Right-click the object and then, on the Transform menu, click Repeat Last Transform.

When you select more than one object, you can apply the transformation to all the objects as if you had grouped them first (although the objects are not actually grouped).
