Edit text
After you create a text object on your page, you can select and change the text that it contains.
To edit text

In the Toolbox, select the Text
tool. -
To select text in the text object, drag the Text tool over the text. You can also do one or more of the following:

Press CTRL+A to select all the text in the text object.

Press SHIFT and an arrow key to select text before or after your cursor. For example, press SHIFT+RIGHT ARROW to select the character to the right of the cursor, and SHIFT+LEFT ARROW selects the character to the left.

Press SHIFT+HOME to select text from the cursor to the start of the line.

Press SHIFT+END to select text from the cursor to the end of the line.

You can also delete text in the text object.
To delete text

To delete text in a text object, use one of the following methods:

Press either the DELETE or BACKSPACE key to delete selected characters.

With a selection tool, select a block of text and then press either the DELETE or BACKSPACE key.

If the Selection or Direct Selection tool is selected in the Toolbox, you can quickly select text by double-clicking a text object. The tool automatically becomes the Text tool. |
