3.2.3 Initialization

The Telnet: NTLM Authentication Protocol is not a protocol by itself; rather, it is part of the Telnet Protocol (as specified in [RFC854]). Therefore, no separate initialization is required.

The server implementation MUST set AUTH_STATE (which it uses to track its internal state) to will_authenticate_not_received.
