2.2.7.26 SAMPR_USER_INTERNAL5_INFORMATION

The SAMPR_USER_INTERNAL5_INFORMATION structure holds an encrypted password.

This structure is used to carry a new password for a particular account from the client to the server, encrypted in a way that protects it from disclosure or tampering while in transit.

typedef struct _SAMPR_USER_INTERNAL5_INFORMATION {
  SAMPR_ENCRYPTED_USER_PASSWORD UserPassword;
  unsigned char PasswordExpired;
} SAMPR_USER_INTERNAL5_INFORMATION,
 *PSAMPR_USER_INTERNAL5_INFORMATION;

UserPassword: A cleartext password, encrypted according to the specification for SAMPR_ENCRYPTED_USER_PASSWORD, with the encryption key being the 16-byte SMB [MS-SMB] session key established by the underlying authentication protocol (either Kerberos [MS-KILE] or NTLM [MS-NLMP]).

PasswordExpired: See section 2.2.7.1.
