8.3 name: A file name string restricted in length to 12 characters that includes a base name of up to eight characters, one character for a period, and up to three characters for a file name extension. For more information on 8.3 file names, see [CIFS] section 3.2.
88 object class: An object class as specified in [X500]. An 88 object class inherits only from the top and can be instantiated as a new object, such as a structural object class, and on an existing object, such as an auxiliary object class.
