Deploying a Plug-in

When you register a plug-in, you inform Microsoft Dynamics CRM where the plug-in is located, the conditions under which the plug-in is to execute, and what information to pass to the plug-in. You can register a plug-in programmatically by using the event framework APIs.

Note Source code for a tool to register plug-ins is provided with the SDK in the SDK\Tools\PluginRegistration folder. This tool implements most of the registration capability supported by the Event Framework registration classes. For more information about the tool sample code, see Sample Code.
