The following tips are related to plug-in execution:
·Have you written a plug-in and cannot make it execute? One reason that this occurs may be because of the parent/child pipeline execution architecture of Microsoft Dynamics CRM. If you register a plug-in for execution in the parent pipeline and it does not execute, try registering the plug-in for execution in the child pipeline. Notice that the child pipeline only processes create, update, and delete messages regardless of what message the parent pipeline is processing.
·If you have registered a plug-in that depends on other assemblies that you put in the GAC, are you getting an assembly load error? To work around this caching issue, first register the plug-in assembly. Next, add the referenced assemblies to the GAC. Finally, reset IIS by typing "iisreset" in a Command Prompt window or use the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
