AfxDaoInit

Visual Studio 2010

This function initializes the DAO database engine.

Copy 
void AfxDaoInit( );
throw(
   CDaoException* 
);

In most cases, you don't need to call AfxDaoInit because the application automatically calls it when it is needed.
