The specifications of the ERP Connector Solution Starter for Microsoft Office Project Server 2007 include functional and technical specifications for all of the components of the ERP Connector that are installed on Project Server. The core ERP Connector components manage, and are shared by, the plug-in components for specific jobs.

  • Core Components of the ERP Connector describes the functionality of the Connector component, the ConnectorService component, and the ConnectorTool component.

  • Plug-in: Human Resources Integration describes the process for synchronizing resources between Project Server and mySAP™ ERP Human Capital Management with the SAPHRPlugIn component.

  • Plug-in: Finance Integration on a Project and WBS Level describes the process, initiated on mySAP ERP, for downloading project master data from the mySAP ERP Financials CO subsystem (internal orders) and creating projects on Project Server with the SAPCOPlugIn component. The process can also include uploading work actuals from Project Server to mySAP ERP Financials subsystems with the SAPFIPlugIn component.

  • Plug-in: Finance Integration with Work Actuals describes the process, initiated on mySAP ERP, for downloading project work breakdown structure (WBS) data from the mySAP ERP Financials PS subsystem (task accounting) to Project Server, and the creation of tasks with the SAPFIPlugIn component. The process can include uploading work actuals from Project Server to mySAP ERP Financials subsystems.

  • ERP Connector Setup Projects include eight merge modules for the SetupConnector project. There is a merge module for each of the ERP Connector components plus merge modules for installing documentation and for creating a folder with the BAPI™ scripts and other files for mySAP ERP.
