role Class (CrmService)

Represents a grouping of security privileges. Users are assigned roles that authorize their access to the Microsoft Dynamics CRM system.

The role class inherits from BusinessEntity. It exposes the following members.

roleInitializes a new instance of the role class.

businessunitidGets or sets the ID of the business unit with which the role is associated.
createdbyGets the ID of the user who created the role.
createdonGets the date and time when the role was created.
createdonbehalfbyGets the ID of the proxy user who created the role.
importsequencenumberGets or sets the ID of the data import or data migration that created this record.
modifiedbyGets the ID of the user who last modified the role.
modifiedonGets the date and time when the role was last modified.
modifiedonbehalfbyGets the ID of the proxy user who last modified the role.
nameGets or sets the name of the role.
organizationidGets the ID of the organization associated with the role.
overriddencreatedonGets or sets the date and time that the record was migrated.
parentroleidGets the ID of the parent role.
roleidGets or sets the ID of the role.
roletemplateidGets the ID of the role template that is associated with the role.
