Delete a business role
Deleting a business role may be required for administrative purposes. You must belong to the Data Administrator or Modeler role to delete a business role.
Deleting a role removes only the role. It does not delete the users who are assigned to the role. A deleted role cannot be recovered.
Note
The predefined administrative roles cannot be deleted.
To delete a business role
In the Workspace Browser pane, click Security and Roles.
At the top of the Security and Roles workspace, in the View menu, select Business Roles Only.
In the list of roles, click the business role that you want to delete.
In the Workspace Actions pane, under Security and Roles Tasks, click Delete This Business Role.
Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
On the File menu, click Save Model Site to save your changes.
