How to: Use Quick Launch Shortcuts (Team System Web Access)
Updated: July 2010
You can use the quick launch area on the left side of the Team System Web Access navigation pane to quickly access information that you use frequently. This area contains the following items:
Favorites Lists items of any type that you have added to the Favorites list. You can quickly access work item queries, documents, reports, and team project nodes that you use frequently by adding them to your Favorites. You can also organize items into folders within this list. For more information, see Managing Favorites (Team System Web Access).
New Work Item Lists the types of work items that you have created recently. To create a work item, click the type of work item that you want to create.
My Queries Lists the most recent My Queries that you created or ran. To run a query in this list, click the query.
Team Queries Lists the most recent Team Queries that you created or ran.
Reports Lists the most recent reports that you ran. Click a report to open it.
All items in the quick launch area except for New Work Item display a page that contains everything in the project of the specified type. For example, if you click Team Queries, a page listing all team queries appears.
To perform these procedures, you must be a member of the Readers group or have the View work items in this node permission set to Allow. To view reports, you must have the Read permission on the Reporting Services server set to Allow. For more information, see Team Foundation Server Permissions.
