ITaskbarList::HrInit method

Applies to: desktop apps only

Initializes the taskbar list object. This method must be called before any other ITaskbarList methods can be called.

Syntax

HRESULT HrInit();

Parameters

This method has no parameters.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error value otherwise. If the method fails, no other methods can be called. The calling application should release the interface pointer.

Minimum supported client	Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP
Minimum supported server	Windows 2000 Server
Header	Shobjidl.h
DLL	Shell32.dll (version 4.71 or later)
