StrStrI function

Finds the first occurrence of a substring within a string. The comparison is not case-sensitive.

Syntax


PTSTR StrStrI(
  _In_  PTSTR pszFirst,
  _In_  PCTSTR pszSrch
);

Parameters

pszFirst [in]

Type: PTSTR

A pointer to the null-terminated string being searched.

pszSrch [in]

Type: PCTSTR

A pointer to the substring to search for.

Return value

Type: PTSTR

Returns the address of the first occurrence of the matching substring if successful, or NULL otherwise.

Minimum supported client

Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP [desktop apps only]

Minimum supported server

Windows 2000 Server [desktop apps only]
