ClientBase<TChannel>.GetDefaultValueForInitialization<T> Method

Replicates the behavior of the default keyword in C#.

protected T GetDefaultValueForInitialization<T>()

Type Parameters

T

The type that is identified as reference or numeric by the keyword.

Return Value

Type: T
Returns null if T is a reference type and zero if T is a numeric value type.

Supported in: 4, 3.5 SP1

Supported in: Portable Class Library

.NET for Windows Store apps

Supported in: Windows 8
