This section describes how the developer can add Business Rule Engine (BRE) policies to an RFID (radio frequency identification) process in scenarios such as tag filtering and augmenting tag data. The BRE simplifies asynchronous event processing for common scenarios such as filtering, augmenting, validating, and cleansing tag data. Such scenarios typically increase the relevancy of data that is being processed and reduces the volume of data that line-of-business applications analyze.
