Microsoft Code Name "Acropolis" was an incubation project for a set of components and tools intended to make it easier for developers to build and manage modular, business focused, client applications for Microsoft Windows on the .NET Framework. Many "Acropolis" concepts are being added to future versions of the .NET Framework for the desktop and for Silverlight. For more information about "Acropolis", see Acropolis on WindowsClient.net.
