ObjType Element [Visio 2003 SDK Documentation]
Specifies whether objects are placeable or routable in diagrams when you use Microsoft Office Visio to lay out shapes on the drawing page.
Visio decides based on the drawing context.
Shape is placeable.
Shape is routable.
Shape is not placeable, not routable.
Group contains placeable/routable shapes.
<ObjType> [Unit] [F] [Err]> </ObjType>
Optional string. Represents a unit of measure. The default is NUM. For details about NUM, see Units of measure.
Optional string. Represents the element's formula. This attribute can contain one of the following strings: "someFormula" if the formula exists locally, "No Formula" if the formula is locally deleted or blocked, or "Inh" if the formula is inherited.
If the attribute is not present, the element's formula is a simple constant, for example, <element>5</element>.
Optional string. Indicates that the formula evaluates to an error. The value of Err is the current value (an error message string); the value of the element is the last valid value.
By default, the ObjType element is set to 0, meaning that Visio determines whether the shape is placeable depending on its context.
For example, if a user draws a simple rectangle, the value of its ObjType element is 0. If the user then connects the rectangle to another shape, Visio resets the value of the rectangle's ObjType element to 1 (placeable).
