Single.IConvertible.ToType Method

This API supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Parameters

type
Type: System.Type

The type to which to convert this Single value.

provider
Type: System.IFormatProvider

An IFormatProvider implementation that supplies information about the format of the returned value.

Return Value

Type: System.Object
The value of the current instance, converted to type.

IConvertible.ToType(Type, IFormatProvider)

This member is an explicit interface member implementation. It can be used only when the Single instance is cast to an IConvertible interface. The recommended alternative is to call the static (Shared in Visual Basic) Convert.ChangeType method.
