Enumerable.Average Method (IEnumerable(Nullable(Single)))

Computes the average of a sequence of nullable Single values.

Type: System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable(Nullable(Single))

A sequence of nullable Single values to calculate the average of.

Return Value

Type: System.Nullable(Single)
The average of the sequence of values, or a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) if the source sequence is empty or contains only values that are a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type IEnumerable(Nullable(Single)). When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
