String.IConvertible.ToDateTime Method

This API supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Parameters

provider
Type: System.IFormatProvider
An object that provides culture-specific formatting information.

Return Value

Type: System.DateTime
The converted value of the current String object.

Implements

IConvertible.ToDateTime(IFormatProvider)

This member is an explicit interface member implementation. It can be used only when the String instance is cast to an IConvertible interface. The recommended alternative is to call the Convert.ToDateTime(String, IFormatProvider) method.

Supported in: 4, 3.5 SP1
