WorksheetFunction.Lcm Method

Office 2007
Returns the least common multiple of integers. The least common multiple is the smallest positive integer that is a multiple of all integer arguments number1, number2, and so on. Use LCM to add fractions with different denominators.

Syntax

expression.Lcm(Arg1, Arg2, Arg3, Arg4, Arg5, Arg6, Arg7, Arg8, Arg9, Arg10, Arg11, Arg12, Arg13, Arg14, Arg15, Arg16, Arg17, Arg18, Arg19, Arg20, Arg21, Arg22, Arg23, Arg24, Arg25, Arg26, Arg27, Arg28, Arg29, Arg30)

expression   A variable that represents a WorksheetFunction object.

Parameters

Arg1RequiredVariantNumber1, number2,... - 1 to 29 values for which you want the least common multiple. If value is not an integer, it is truncated.

Double

Remarks

  • If any argument is nonnumeric, LCM returns the #VALUE! error value.
  • If any argument is less than zero, LCM returns the #NUM! error value.
