Executes the predefined submit operation in a Microsoft Office InfoPath 2007 form.

Syntax

expression.Submit

expression   An expression that returns a XDocument object.

Return Value
Nothing

Remarks

Using the Submit method is similar to, but not exactly like, using the submit operation from the InfoPath user interface. Calling the Submit method simply performs the submit operation, but the submit operation must first be enabled for a form in design mode.

You can write a custom submit operation using the OnSubmitRequest event, and then you can programmatically call the event using the Submit method.

Security Level 2: Can be accessed only by forms running in the same domain as the currently open form, or by forms that have been granted cross-domain permissions.

Example

In the following example, the Submit method of the XDocument object is used to submit the form using the predefined submit operation:
