Avoiding Placing Transport Controls on Pages
Although providing controls for actions such as "Play" on pages is acceptable, we recommend that you do not include transport control buttons (Rewind, Fast Forward, Play, Pause, and so forth) because Windows Media Center provides this functionality through a physical remote control and through mouse-clickable transport controls in the Windows Media Center UI. In addition, we recommend that you do not include interactive progress bars or sliders because remote controls cannot access this functionality.
