Represents different types of identity

Members

Member name Description
InvalidIdentity An identity for which a SID or distinguished name is not obtainable.
UnknownIdentityType An identity that is an AD object, having a SID and distinguished name, but is neither a user nor a group. A computer is an example of this type.
WindowsUser A Windows User defined on the local computer's SAM, or an AD user.
WindowsGroup A Windows Group defined on the local computer's SAM, or an AD user.
ApplicationGroup An Application Group is defined by a Team Foundation Server, and only has meaning within this context.
NonCachedIdentity An identity which is not in the GSS cache.
