Microsoft Help 2 Error Messages

While working with Microsoft Help 2 files, you may encounter the following types of messages:

Compiler messages, which appear in a log file that is created after the build process has completed.
Converter messages, which appear in a log file generated after the conversion has completed. You may receive an on-screen message to notify you when such error messages have been generated.

To search for more specific content on error messages, type the error number, for example "HXC1001", into the Look for text box in the Index pane of Microsoft Document Explorer to search for more information.
