Customizing XML Serialization Behavior in Domain-Specific Language Explorer

By using the Xml Serialization Behavior node in DSL Explorer, you can configure serialization behavior for your generated designer. You can also locate the element in the diagram with which the XML serialization is affiliated. For more information, see How to: Locate an Object in a Domain-Specific Language Diagram.

Additionally, you can perform the following tasks:

  • Add XML class data.

  • Add XML property and relationship data to XML class data nodes.

  • In the Properties window, modify the property values of class data nodes and element data nodes to support custom serialization behavior.

  • Rearrange the element data.
