Important Notice - End Users License Agreement - Windows 8.1

Read the end user license agreement (LICENSE) in its entirety.

The LICENSE contains important information including text that must appear within your own privacy policy and/or terms of use statement when your app uses advertising. Make sure your app complies with all sections of the LICENSE, including those related to Redistribution Requirements, Data Collection and Use and Additional Agreements.

Age Rating: Your Windows 8.1 apps must have an Age rating of at least 12+ in the Windows Application Marketplace to receive Ads. See the Additional Agreements section.

The LICENSE can be found in the folder where your Visual Studio Extension SDKs are located. The default installation paths are:

  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v8.1\ExtensionSDKs\MSAdvertisingSdk\8.1

  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v8.1\ExtensionSDKs\MSAdvertisingXaml\8.1

  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v8.1\ExtensionSDKs\MSAdvertisingJS\8.1
