Customizing the Start Page

Visual Studio 2008

You can customize the news channel that the Start Page uses as well as remove entries from the Recent Projects section. In addition, you can choose not to have the Start Page appear each time you start Visual Studio.

Easier Way to remove items from the Reent Projects List

You can do the following much easier via regedit:

1. Close Visual Studio

2. In regedit, drill down to:
My Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\9.0\ProjectMRUList

3. Delete any project entries you don't want. You can even edit them here if you want.
