The Windows System Assessment Tool (WinSAT) provides the following samples in the Windows SDK.

Sample	Description
InitiateAssessment	Shows how to initiate formal and custom assessments.
QueryWinSAT	Shows how to query the WinSAT data stores to get the results of an assessment.
