onerrorupdate event

Fires on a databound object when an error occurs while updating the associated data in the data source object.

Syntax

HTML Attribute <element onerrorupdate = "handler(event)">
Event Property object.onerrorupdate = handler;
attachEvent Method object.attachEvent("onerrorupdate", handler)

Remarks

Executes any error handling associated with the event.

To invoke this event, do one of the following:

  • Cause the HTMLDocumentEvents2::onbeforeupdate event to fire and cancel the data transfer.

The pEvtObj parameter is required for the following interfaces:
