onstop event

Fires when the user clicks the Stop button or leaves the document.

Syntax

HTML Attribute <element onstop = "handler(event)">

Remarks

The HTMLDocumentEvents::onstop event fires after the HTMLWindowEvents::onbeforeunload event, and before the HTMLWindowEvents::onunload event.

Initiates any action associated with this event.

To invoke this event, do one of the following:

  • Click the Stop button.
  • Leave the document.

The pEvtObj parameter is required for the following interfaces:
