SYSTEM Element

Indicates either that the parent PACKAGE element contains SYSTEM classes, or that all files described by the parent CODE element should be installed in the designated SYSTEM directory.

Remarks

System classes of a parent PACKAGE element are fully trusted and have a single global instance per Microsoft virtual machine (Microsoft VM). Nonsystem classes have applet-level sandboxed security but can request other permissions if the distribution unit is signed.
