raiseEvent method

Triggers an event, as specified.


HRESULT retVal = object.raiseEvent(name, eventData);

name [in]

Type: BSTR

Specifies a valid event name as a string.

eventData [in]

Type: VARIANT

Specifies event data.

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
