Oracle DatabaseTransport Properties Dialog Box

Use the Oracle Database Transport Properties dialog box to set the required properties.

Use this To do this

Adapter Required Properties

Password

Type a password for the adapter.

PATH

Type the path for the adapter (for example, …\oracleDB\ora92\bin)

Service name

Type the name of the service, which identifies the Oracle database (System DNS name).

User name

Type the name of the user, and then click OK.

Concurrency Control

Max Concurrent Calls

Type a numeric value for the Max Concurrent Calls. This number represents the maximum number of concurrent calls, for example, 200.

The default value for this field is 5. This means no protection occurs.

Max Number of Sessions

Type a numeric value for the maximum number of sessions before a time out.

Refresh Agent

Refresh Agent

Select Yes for the Refresh Agent to force the runtimeagent.exe and the browsingagent.exe processes to restart automatically when required.

For example, you want the process to restart automatically if it loses connection with the server, or if you add something to the server, and it does not appear in the Microsoft Adapter Wizard for selection.

Single Sign-On (SSO)

Affiliate Application

Select the affiliate application from the list only if you are using SSO.

Use SSO

Select Yes if you are using SSO; a password is not required in this case.

Use Transaction

Use Transaction

Select Yes or No from the list. If you select Yes, the transactions are enabled for the port being created. All orchestrations using this port must be transactional. Otherwise, calls are rolled back or are not committed.
