Press CTRL+N to create a new line.
In the
Data link
field, enter a unique identifier for the data link.
In the
Description
field, enter a description of the data link.
When creating a new data link, the
Edit data link
button becomes available when the form is either saved or updated.
Click
Edit data link
to start the Data Link Properties wizard.
Use this wizard to select the OLE DB provider that you want to connect to, enter connection information, and test the connection. After the connection is made, the
Queries
button becomes available.
To define the tables, fields, calculation settings and ranges that are to be used in the data link, click
Queries
.
