The master planning module enables you to set up and run the scheduling feature to calculate requirements and generate planned orders. Forecast scheduling calculates gross requirements based on forecasts and enables you to perform long-term planning of materials and capacity. Master scheduling calculates net requirements based on actual orders and enables you to control inventory replenishment on a day-to-day basis.
